Part-Time Computing Instructor

Are you passionate about working with children and confident using technology?
ComputerXplorers Bolton & Wigan is looking for enthusiastic part-time instructors to deliver fun, engaging computing sessions at our Monday Evening Academy and After-School Clubs in Wigan and Bolton.

This role offers regular hours, making it an ideal opportunity to fit around studies, family life, or another job.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging IT and computing sessions, including coding, robotics, game design, and more

  • Lead our Monday Evening Academy for children aged 6–13

  • Run after-school clubs during the week

  • Opportunity to support holiday clubs and workshops as the role develops

Who We’re Looking For

  • Confident using computers (no need to be an IT expert!)

  • Enjoys working with children and making learning fun

  • Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently

  • Holds an Enhanced DBS or is willing to apply

  • Driver with own transport (essential)

Hours & Availability

  • Monday Evenings: 5.30pm-8pm

  • Weekdays: 3:00pm – 5:00pm (minimum one weekday, up to four)

  • Minimum 4 hours per week, term-time only- Holiday work may be available

  • Flexible, part-time hours that work well alongside other commitments
