ComputerXplorers, the award-winning provider of children’s extra-curricular computer classes, has launched its popular clubs and holiday camps in East Dorset.
Its inspiring educational programmes give children the tools they need to thrive in a technology-driven future, combining creative thinking with the latest computing skills. They are accessible to all children aged three to 16 years old, of all abilities.
The classes, which are the first of their kind in the area, will run in local schools, nurseries, community centres and other children’s groups. Sessions cover a wide range of in-demand topics from coding, 3D animation and modelling to web design, robotics, Minecraft and app building with Appshed.
Local parent and owner of ComputerXplorers Dorset East, Patryk Wylecial, is responsible for bringing these exciting educational opportunities to children in the East Dorset area. The experienced ex operations manager decided to join the ComputerXplorers franchise when he recognised just how important digital skills will be for the futures of his own children and their classmates.
Patryk said: “As a father of two, I can see that ComputerXplorers provides our children with invaluable technology knowledge that they would not otherwise be able to easily access. I am excited to be able to offer these classes to the youngsters of Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and surrounding areas, knowing that our sessions will help unlock a wide range of new career paths for them.
“Running my own business is a long-held ambition of mine and I have always been passionate about education, so I am delighted that I can combine the two to provide these courses for local people.

The launch of the ComputerXplorers Dorset East branch kicked off with a series of Easter holiday camps held at Highcliffe School in Christchurch and The Purbeck School in Wareham and it is currently running weekly after school clubs at Verwood Church of England First School, Burton C Of E Primary School in Christchurch and St George’s C Of E Primary School in Swanage, with more classes and hosting facilities set to be announced soon.
