ComputerXplorers is seeking individuals to join their team for term-time teaching roles in their after-school clubs. The job offers a part-time, temporary contract with zero hours, paying £12 – £16 per hour. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, and the location is Rochdale and Oldham.

The ideal candidate should be available from 14:45pm-16:45pm, that is after school timings particularly in and around Rochdale and Oldham. This opportunity is especially for those who are graduated in the current year, freshers who has 0 – 1 year of experience, seeking part time jobs who has well known computer related knowledge. we would also like to look forward for those individuals who has potential to handle children at after schools for teaching and other purposes.

No formal teaching qualification is necessary. The role involves leading fun computing and IT clubs in primary schools, initially working 5 – 8 hours per week. There may be opportunities to work during school hours, covering PPA time or leading full-day workshops.

The role requires delivering engaging computer lessons and teaching a broad range of skills beyond MS Office, such as programming, 3D design, website design, and digital animation to children aged 4 – 11 years old. While you don’t need to be an IT expert, you should be a confident and enthusiastic computer user. Training and detailed lesson plans will be provided.

key skills include classroom management and the ability to engage with children. Experience working with children and the ability to work independently are essential. Due to the increasing demand from schools in Rochdale and Oldham, having your own transport is necessary as you may need to bring equipment to schools.
