3. Your child doesn’t need to be into IT, we have all kinds of tech and STEM camps
Our holiday camps don’t just cover skills like programming, depending on the camp, your child might find themselves:
- coding Minecraft or having a Minecraft adventure
- creating 3D models of their dream bedroom
- completing an obstable course
We break learning and activities into chunks with breaks for snacks, lunch and free play.

STEM and Computer Holiday Camp FAQ
When are your next holiday camps? Book for the day or the week, our camps run throughout the Summer Holidays. Contact your local centre for more information on camps in your area.
What hours do camps run? Our summer camps vary across the working week, either 9am-1pm or 10am-2pm depending on the day and venue.
What is included? ComputerXplorers Holiday Camps include all the activities and sometimes your child will even bring their 3D printing home!
What does my child need to bring? We ask that your child brings a water bottle and in some cases lunch, unless you are booking via Sheffield Healthy Holidays, where lunch will be provided.
How much do they cost? Please see our ‘Find a Class‘ page for up-to-date pricing or access Sheffield Healthy Holidays for funded places.
Do you run any other classes? Yes, we have a range, see our find a class page for after-school clubs, evening and weekend academies and more!
What SEN provisions do you have? In each area of the UK we have teachers specialising in SEN and over the past 20 years we have tailored our curriculum. Get in touch with the Sheffield location to find out more.
Do you have safeguarding and emergency procedures? All our centres have emergency action plans and child protection codes of conduct. Our teams review these regularly and also take part in practice drills.
Do you accept tax free/childcare vouchers? At the time of writing, we do not accept Childcare vouchers in Sheffield, however this is something we are hoping to accept for future holiday camps.
