WHAT HAPPENS AT CAMP

A full day of tech, creativity and fun

Every day at ComputerXplorers Summer Camp is packed with hands-on activities designed to keep curious minds engaged from morning to afternoon. Each session runs a different workshop, so no two days are the same.

Your child could spend the morning building their own Minecraft world, then switch to animating their own short film all guided by our friendly, DBS-checked instructors who make learning feel like play.

Each day includes:

  • Tech workshops — Minecraft, Bloxels, Scratch, 3D Printing, Animation and more
  • Active breaks — regular screen breaks including outdoor sports and games
  • Lunch provided — no need to pack a bag
  • Social time — children work in teams, make new friends and build confidence alongside their coding skills.

Sessions run 9AM – 3PM. Our venue is Newcastle-under-Lyme Family Hub & Excalibur Primary School in Alsager. Both offer a safe, welcoming space with everything your child needs for a brilliant day.

WHY IT BENEFITS YOUR CHILD

The skills children build at our camps go far beyond the screen. Every activity is designed to develop the kind of thinking that schools, universities and employers genuinely value.

Here’s what your child gains:

Problem-solving skills From debugging code to designing a 3D object, every challenge at camp teaches children to think logically, try new approaches and not give up when things go wrong.
Confidence and teamwork Children collaborate on projects, present their creations and cheer each other on. Many parents tell us their child comes home buzzing not just about what they made, but about the friends they made doing it.
Real digital skills Coding, animation, game design and 3D printing aren’t just fun they’re the building blocks of careers in technology, engineering, design and media. Your child will leave knowing they can create with technology, not just consume it.
A love of learning Our sessions are fast-paced, hands on and genuinely fun. Children who’ve never touched a line of code arrive nervous and leave asking when the next camp is.

“Our aim is to make computing fun and engaging while delivering real, lasting skills creating
children who are e-confident and ready for the future.” — Ade, ComputerXplorers
