Holiday Play Worker – Hampshire

Due to increased demand for our Holidays Camps, we require new team members to work Easter and Summer Holidays as a Holiday Play Workers.

*Half Term Holidays – Must be available between the hours of 08:30 – 17:30 Monday-Friday. Min. 2 day per week*

ComputerXplorers are searching for top quality people to help support our holiday camp leaders. Covering a wide range of activities including, technology, multi sports (including indoor and outdoor sports), arts and crafts, dancing and much more.

Some of the main responsibilities:

• To help set up the scheduled activities, rotate activities throughout the day.
• To support with cleaning resources, and cleaning down activity areas used each session.
• To help support the activity leader through the session.
• To communicate professionally with parents/carers and other team members.
• To provide support to the first aid leader.
• To help prepare healthy snacks and hot lunch – Level 2 Food and Hygiene Course to be completed.

Skills and Requirements

• You must have experience working with children and the ability to think quickly and work independently.
• Be reliable, flexible in your approach with clear communication styles and an ability to work well as a team and as an individual.
• Be passionate about child engagement in a range of activities.
• Desirable Level 2 Safeguarding trained – training will be provided.
• Desirable but not essential First Aid trained – training will be provided.

After our Holiday Camps comes to an end, career progression opportunities may exist to work through the school day, covering breakfast club, after school club, or leading our full-day workshops.

We require staff in all areas of Hampshire, due to increasing demand from for our holiday camp services.

Own transport is desirable but not essential.

Hourly rates between £7.00 – £15 per/hour – depending on age and experience.

Aged 16 +, and a school leaver.

Job Type: Temp. Opportunities maybe available for those who wish to continue in term time.

DBS – Required (We will submit application on your behalf)
