ComputerXplorers Tech Instructor – Empowering the Next Generation of Tech Leaders

Location: Hampshire, in schools. Term time.
Reports To: Area Manager

Job Overview:
Are you passionate about technology and education? As a ComputerXplorers Instructor, your role extends beyond traditional teaching. You are an enabler of curiosity, a guide to discovery, and an ambassador for a future where technology and creativity merge. You will be responsible for inspiring young minds to explore the world of computing, turning the classroom into a laboratory of endless possibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching Excellence: Create an engaging classroom experience that serves as a cornerstone for lifelong learning.
Performance Assessment: Provide meaningful evaluations that go beyond grades—offering students constructive feedback and motivation.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with educational leaders within our organisation to fine-tune our teaching methods and materials.
Safety and Inclusion: Ensure the well-being of students by maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Logistical Preparation: Set up your classroom resources and technology setups efficiently. We provide equipment and lesson plans.
Support for Traditional Education: Assist mainstream teachers during PPA time by integrating our specialist ICT and computing classes into the regular curriculum.
Mostly our ethos is that children learn by having fun, and you will be there to make sure our lesson are engaging, fulfilling and fun!
Qualifications:
Ideally teaching experience, preferably within a computing or technology-based environment. We do provide you with all the training you need.
In-depth understanding of current educational technology trends and tools.
A DBS will be completed.
Exceptional communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Driving and own transport (desirable)

Desirable Level 2 Safeguarding trained – training will be provided.

Desirable but not essential First Aid trained – training will be provided.
