Activities for Different Ages and Abilities

Every child develops at their own pace, so treat this as a guide rather than a rulebook. Availability also varies by location.

Children aged 3 to 5 explore Early Years Technology through play. Ages 5 to 13 enjoy Coding & Programming, Robotics & Engineering and Digital Creativity. Game Design tends to suit ages 7 to 13, while Website Design & App Development works best for ages 9 to 13, once children are ready for longer projects.

Skills Children Build Through Our STEM Activities

The activity your child picks is really a way in. Underneath every game, robot and animation, children are building skills that carry across school and life.

They learn coding and computational thinking, the knack of breaking a big problem into small, solvable steps. They practise problem-solving and logical thinking, and get comfortable with the idea that the first attempt rarely works, and that is fine.

How Our Activities Work

Our sessions are practical, age-appropriate and built around doing rather than watching. Children are guided through hands-on tasks and creative challenges by instructors who know how to keep things moving and fun.

You will find our activities in plenty of places: after-school and weekend classes, holiday camps, workshops, sessions run in schools and nurseries, and our weekly Academy. Whatever the format, the approach is the same. Children make something real, at their own level, in a supportive group.
